Divan Base Beds

At Naturalmat, we understand the importance of keeping it natural, and since all our beds and bed bases are made by hand to order with nothing sitting in storage gathering dust, this gives you total control over styling your bed with your own fabric, matching what you already have in the room, or fitting in the space you have available.

Divan beds are great because they offer an unparalleled level of flexibility to fit the overall styling of your room and are still the most popular amongst our customers. Simply put, divan beds are divan bed bases with a mattress on top. Our Coco Base has a deep wooden frame and layers of coir fibre and organic lambswool. Upholstered in quilted herringbone (unless another fabric is selected), this is an entirely natural solution – and a great base to build on. It can also come with drawers suitable to the access and layout of your bedroom for that added storage (we all need it after all!).

The handmade Divan Bed Bases are then covered with our standard ivory herringbone fabric, our brand new Organic House Linen or world-famous Romo, Kirkby, Colefax & Fowler fabrics, for an extra special, long-lasting finish.
