Naturalmat was started with the aim of helping babies and children sleep safely and comfortably in the best, most natural environment possible. Harnessing the amazing potential of natural and organic materials like organic coir, natural latex and organic lambswool, we have created a range of hand crafted mattresses that are superbly comfortable, breathable, washable and non-allergenic.
The Natural Mat Company is an exciting new entrant to the hotel industry and is based in Devon, England. The company was started when its directors Mark Tremlett and Peter Tindall became frustrated with the poor quality of synthetic mattresses and decided to look for an alternative. With their knowledge and expertise they quickly developed a business to develop the perfect natural sleeping environment.
Naturalmat was born in the marine industry.Founded by Peter Tindall and Mark Tremlett, both keen yachtsmen, the business emerged out of a drive to improve the sleeping conditions on board boats. Fed up with the poor quality synthetic foams historically used to make mattresses on boats, they discovered the amazing benefits of natural fibre technology.
