​This charming upholstered storage chest is a marvellous storage solution, perfect for all of your little one’s big treasures.

Standing on wooden bun feet and padded with lashings of recycled denim and organic lambswool, the Buckland Box is solidly constructed from sustainable wood. Available in a range of colourful natural fibre materials, the Buckland is a truly versatile piece which can be made to suit any sleep space.

Featuring a hinged lid which seals tight with real leather straps, this robust little toy box pairs excellently with the Buckland Bed - but works equally well as a standalone accent piece in your child's room.

Very few pieces are built the way we build them

Handmade in Devon, properly

We handcraft our beds, headboards and toy boxes in our Devon workshop using traditional joinery techniques which ensure they last a lifetime. Unlike most frames which are simply stapled together, ours are glued (using organic glue) and screwed for a much sturdier and longer lasting construction. And because we make everything ourselves, we’re always happy to accommodate bespoke requests like making the toy box taller or wider, or swapping the standard feet for something different.

The natural difference

Many of the same natural and organic fibres in our mattresses feature in our upholstery pieces too. We start with FSC-certified timber for the frame and layer on organic coir or recycled denim depending on the design. The Buckland Toy Box is then wrapped in locally sourced organic wool before being finished with one of our natural fabrics. The result is a natural storage solution, completely free of synthetic foam and chemical fire retardants, which will provide years of comfort.

We have curated a collection of natural fabrics, featuring unique fibres like linen, wool and hemp, chosen not only for their look & feel, but also for the ethos & sustainability credentials of the mill itself. What You Need To Know About Delivery

  • When can I expect delivery?

    Our current delivery time for the Buckland Toy Box is 4-5 weeks. We’ll be in touch the week before your delivery date to discuss a convenient time and talk through any access issues for your property.

  • How will my toy box arrive?

    Your toy box will arrive on a van with a two-person team, who will take it to a room of your choice and dispose of any excess packaging.
