​The Eva Child Bed combines pure elegance and style to create an understated, low-profile bed with a shallow buttoned headboard. Stuffed with lashings of organic lambswool & coir, and available for upholstery in a range of premium natural-fibre fabrics, this bed makes a great statement piece for any child’s bedroom.

Sure to complement both traditionally-styled & modern bedrooms, the buttoned headboard is eye-catching, yet doesn't distract from the rest of the bed - making it the perfect pairing for our divan-style Salcombe Base. This upholstered base features solid slats and is padded with a mixture of both organic wool & organic coir, making it supremely breathable.

Very few beds are built the way we build them

Handmade in Devon, properly

We handcraft our beds in our Devon workshop using traditional joinery techniques which ensure they last a lifetime. Unlike most bed frames which are simply stapled together, ours are glued (using organic glue) and screwed for a much sturdier and longer lasting construction. And because we make everything ourselves, we’re always happy to accommodate bespoke requests like making headboards taller or wider, or swapping the standard feet for something different.

The natural difference

Many of the same natural and organic fibres in our mattresses feature in our beds too. We start with FSC-certified timber for the frame and layer on organic coir or recycled denim depending on the design. The headboard is then wrapped in locally sourced organic wool before being finished with one of our natural fabrics. The result is a natural bed, completely free of synthetic foam and chemical fire retardants, which will provide years of comfort.

What You Need To Know About Delivery

  • When can I expect delivery?

    Our current delivery time for beds is 4-5 weeks. We’ll be in touch the week before your delivery date to discuss a convenient time and talk through any access issues for your property.

  • How will my bed arrive?

    Some of our bed bases break down into side rails, foot end and headboard - others will arrive as one piece. Please consider whether your bed will fit up the stairs when making your selection!

  • Will you help me build it?!

    Yes, fear not! Our beds are delivered by our own two-person team who will take it up to your bedroom, assemble it for you and take away any packaging for reuse.
